Getting Started

I have always loved writing, I've done a lot of it in my day. "In my day," makes me sound old [smile], I'm not that old - truly, I'm only as old as I feel in my head and most days that is somewhere around five, occasionally it is twenty-five. Age is so relative that I don't think it truly matters, does it? I decided to start this blog because, in the grand scheme of things, I am entitled to let everyone know my opinion, just like the rest of the world. I am of the opinion that change is needed and so occasionally I can be quite revolutionary in my ideas - one day I shall put up my entire rant about the need to empty all of the politicians from Washington D.C. and begin anew, but not today - and occasionally I am very much a homebody so may tell you all about the muffins I made that morning and how the recipe is amazing and that I added my own little twist to it by adding such and such. But my dear readers, mostly I will be writing letters to you, and letting you know that the girl next door understands and has probably experienced exactly what you are going through. Life is not perfect, nor should it be. The messier it is the more fun, and possibly excitement(?), to be had. The harder one works the more one appreciates the outcome, right? Don't worry, I grew up hearing that too - I only believe it when all is said and done. Who knows what the future brings!
